Leonard T. Berard is the founder and president of Consolidated Financial Management.   Mr. Berard received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, with an emphasis in Political Science.  Mr. Berard has been in the financial services industry since 1969. His professional experience has centered on financial consulting to individual clients since 1976.

Mr. Berard earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional designation from the College of Financial Planning, Denver, Colorado (1984).  He has also earned the professional designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (1981) and Chartered Financial Consultant (1986) from the American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. 

Mr. Berard is a Registered Representative with LPL Financial, member FINRA/SIPC; his firm is a Registered Investment Advisor with the California Department of Corporations; he is a member of the Financial Planning Association; and has been on the board of directors of the Oregon Society of The Institute of Certified Financial Planners.  He has a Life and Disability insurance license and a Variable Annuity license through the States of California and Oregon.

In addition to his professional affiliations, Mr. Berard has served on the advisory board of a major independent bank, has been vice president of the school board of a private school in Laguna Beach, CA, a coach for youth baseball and basketball, Chairman of the Development Committee for a charitable fund raising campaign, and volunteer for the SMART program of the Oregon Foundation For Children.

Len currently lives in Hillsboro, OR.  Len enjoys spending time with his granddaughters, Mia and Katy.
